Worsbrough Bridge Miners Welfare & Athletic F.C. is an English football club based in the Worsborough area of Barnsley, South Yorkshire. The club are currently members of Division One of the Northern Counties East League and play at Park Road.

The club was founded as Worsbrough Bridge St James in 1923.[1] After World War II they were reformed as Worsbrough Bridge Athletic Club and played both football and cricket.[1] After joining a partnership with the local Miners' Welfare scheme, they adopted their current name.[1] They joined Division Three of the Yorkshire League in 1971,[2] and finished third in their first season, earning promotion to Division Two. They finished third again the following season and were promoted to Division One. After finishing second bottom in 1975–76 they were relegated back to Division Two, and were relegated back to Division Three at the end of the 1978–79 season.
When the Yorkshire League merged with the Midland League in 1982 to form the Northern Counties East League, the club were placed in Division Two South. In 1984 they were transferred to Division One Central due to league reorganisation, and the following season were placed in Division Three. At the end of the 1985–86 season Division Three was merged into Division Two, in which the club remained until finishing as runners-up in 1990–91 to earn promotion to Division One.
